You too can, and should, forge connections with, thoughtfully help care for, and make a meaningful impact on countless elderly people in your own community, by volunteering to perform and make music with the elderly in senior homes. However, it can be hard to get started, reaching out to senior homes and finding how to begin volunteering. Below are some places you can reach out to, with their address and contact information, to help you get started!

The elderly care facilities below are in no particular order, all of them provide great service to the residents under their care and are amazing places to volunteer. Be aware that in order to volunteer at elderly care homes, Minnesota requires that you have your fingerprints taken so that the Minnesota Department of Human Services can run a background check on you. Additionally, you will also need to schedule a Tuberculosis test with the Twin Cities Occupational Health Clinics. The care home you are volunteering at can provide more details about the process.
